31 Facts About Me.​

1. I attended a private Christian school for 3 years. It had a three spire cathedral. I am atheist though.

2. For 2 years, I was studying Chinese, English, French, German and Latin at the same time.

3. I have a scar on my left hand from breaking a test tube during biology class when I was 14.

4. I did 6 A Levels (Maths, Further Maths, Chinese, Biology, Physics, Chemistry).

5. I went on a student exchange to Hangzhou, China without knowing a single person beforehand.

6. I have friends from 20+ countries, mainly from university and work.

7. My longest road trip was 290km from Tamworth to Brighton, taking 3.5 hours.​

8. My longest train journey was 2200km from Beijing to Shenzhen, taking 8.5 hours.

9. Until 2010, I had only visited 3 countries, until 2015 only 4 countries.

10. I visited over 30 cities in Asia and Europe between 2015 and 2019.

11. I have flown the UK-China route around 15 times.​

12. I have slept for 1 week on the Mediterranean Sea and 2 weeks on the Baltic Sea.​

13. I won a children's arts competition when I was 9. The prize was a limited edition Snoopy Collection house.

14. I have been a winner of the 200m sprint and 4x100m relay.

15. I have worked part-time for 6+ years in the restaurant/takeaway industry, starting when I was 14. I was a dishwasher, trainee chef, waiter, till staff and order handler.

16. I got my first laptop when I was 15, a Dell. I got my first mobile phone when I was 16.

17. My favourite sporting event is the Olympics, followed by the Tennis Grand Slams.

18. When I was a child, my favourite hobby was reading fiction. I became a literature nerd but this almost stopped by 2008. I started reading self-development and finance books around 2018.

19. My first gaming console was a Game Boy.

20. My first video game addiction was Pokemon Red in 1999. I also miss the craze of Pokemon GO.

21. My first online multiplayer game was RuneScape. My most played game ever is probably Genshin Impact.

22. I watched Cdramas throughout childhood, more UK/US TV during teenage years.

23. I started listening to Mandopop when I was 18 and KPop when I was 19.

24. I learned to play Sanguosha in July 2011, and became addicted.

25. I made my first ever YouTube video in May 2020.

26. I drink English breakfast tea in the morning and green tea in the evening. Sometimes coffee. Mostly water.

27. I only really discovered coffee shops in 2017.

28. I have become teetotal except for special occasions when I am obligated to.

29. 3 things I don't like: smoking, racism, annoying noises

30. I'm semi afraid of heights, more like vertigo.
